Pick up from your hotel at around 14:30hrs visit to the former capital of the Portuguese surrounded by riverside palm groves, the colossal (huge), cream painted cathedral towers, belfries and domes of churches are Goa’s most impressive historical monuments and collectively one of the finest corps of renaissance architecture in the world. Here you visit churches of Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se cathedral, St Cajetan churches built in 16th & 17th century. Most important is the visit to Basilica of Bom Jesus where the relics of St Francis Xavier are kept.
Then drive to the city of Ponda is also a province surrounded where each village has its own deity and temples that has increased the strength to more then 350 temples where today this place is said to be the heart of Hindu religion in Goa. On our way we would stop at one temple either dedicated goddess Mahalasa (north Goa) or Shree Shantadurga (south Goa) where people from all walks visits the temple for peace of mind and blessing.
We then proceed to watch the traditional Goan folk dances. Enjoy a sumptuous Goan buffet lunch with seasonal fruits, home made sweets & unlimited Feni before you head back to hotel.
