Hampi, as it is popularly known today was the medieval capital of the Hindu empire Vijayanagara (the City of Victory) is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Hampi is charismatic even in its ruined state. It attracts thousands of tourists and pilgrims every year. Vast stretches of boulder-strewn hills make the backdrop of Hampi unique. Dotted around the hills and valleys are 500 plus monuments. Among them are beautiful temples, basement of palaces, remains of aquatic structures, ancient market streets, royal pavilions, bastions, royal platforms, treasury buildings; the list is practically endless.
In Hampi at every turn there is a surprise. Every monument hides more than what they reveal.
Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1
05:00 AM: You will be picked up from your Hotel by A/C car and driven to Hampi.
08:30 AM: You will be served Breakfast when you reach Ankola.
09:30 AM: Further you will leave for Hospet and be transferred to your hotel.
14:30 PM: When you reach Hospet, you will check-in to your hotel and have lunch. After a short rest, you will proceed to the Hanuman Temple.
16:30 PM : Soonafter, you will be driven to the Sunset point and then back to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2
5:30 AM : Wake up call with Bed Tea.
6:00 AM : Proceed to Hampi for sight-seeing.
6:30 AM : When you reach Hampi, visit Ganesh Temple, Virupaksha Temple, Narasimha, Lotus Mahal Elephant Stables, Queens Bath and Vittal Temple.
13:00 PM: Lunch will be served.
14:30 PM: Proceed back to Goa.
