On the outskirts of the State of Karnataka, is a small town – Hospet. About 6 Kms away lay the ruins of the once legendary city of Hampi, capital of Vijayanagar Samrajya, which goes back to the year 1336.Hampi is renowned for its finely decorated Prasadas. On the banks of the river Tunghabhadra, is the Vittala Temple, with its musical pillars. A leisurely walk around the town is a delight.


Day 1: Catch the 7.20 am train from Vasco Railway station, and arrive in Hospet at around 4.30 pm. An early dinner and rest is recommended.


Day 2: At 7 am the English speaking guides will take you on a tour of the main sights of Hampi, enroute stop for breakfast at the market, surrounded by ruins of one of the largest Hindu empires. After lunch at the hotel the day is yours to do as you please.


Day 3: An early breakfast and then drive to watch the sunrise over the ancient ruins. Then on to catch the 10.30 am train to Goa.  Arrive in Goa at around 08:30 p.m. Drive back to the hotel.
